2022 Openclassrooms: Terms and Conditions for Scholarship Programme
- This scholarship programme (the “Scholarship Programme”) is open to any eligible delivery rider authorised by RooFoods Ltd or its affiliates (“Deliveroo”) to carry out delivery services (a “Rider”) or their partners, siblings, parents or children over 18 years old (“Family Members”) in the UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Hong Kong, Italy and Kuwait. Throughout these terms and conditions, a reference to a “Applicant Rider” shall mean a “Rider” and “a relevant Family Member’s connected Rider”. Applications will no longer be valid if the Applicant Rider ceases to be a Rider).
- Eligibility Criteria - Applicant Riders must have a 9 month tenure, and 60 orders in the last 12 weeks on the Deliveroo platform at the point of application, as well as completion of a relevant course through openclassrooms.com Premium Solo subscription service.
- The provider of the Scholarship Programme is OpenClassrooms.com, a company registered in France with a registered office of 10 Quai de la Charente, 750197 Paris, France (the “Provider”), in partnership with Deliveroo.
- To apply to the Scholarship Programme, Applicant Riders must fill out an online application form and submit a certificate evidencing their completion of a relevant course through openclassrooms.com Premium Solo subscription service.
- The final date for submission of an application to enroll in the Scholarship Programme is 5th June 2022.
- Applicant Riders acknowledge that any personal data processed in connection with the Scholarship programme will be processed in accordance with the Deliveroo Privacy Notice at https://deliveroo.nl/nl/privacy
- Each Scholarship Programme consists of a free Provider-run scholarship studying a course of your choice from the list of Provider paths:
English language:
IT Support Technician
Web Developer,
Digital Marketer
French language:
IT Technician,
Attache Commercial (Sales Rep),
Developpeur Web
These paths last approximately 6 months and include mandatory completion of online projects, access to a personal mentor and result in a recognised diploma. Successful applicants must respond within 7 days after contact from Deliveroo to accept the scholarship. If a successful applicant does not respond within that time, an alternative Applicant Rider may be selected.
- By submitting an application to join the Scholarship Programme, each Applicant Rider agrees (without any fee being payable) to participate in filmed or written publicity connected with the Scholarship Programme, and agrees to their name, photograph and country of residence being made publicly available in promotional material.
- Decisions on the award of a scholarship shall be made by Deliveroo at its sole discretion. Deliveroo’s decision to award a scholarship shall be based on Applicant Riders’ satisfaction of the eligibility criteria, the quality of any Applicant Rider’s application, and such other criteria as Deliveroo deems appropriate.
- Deliveroo’s decisions are final and Deliveroo shall not be obliged to provide reasons for its decisions.
- Successful Applicant Riders shall be required to sign-up to and adhere to the Provider’s own terms and conditions in respect of the Scholarship Programme. Full Provider terms and conditions can be found here: https://openclassrooms.com/en/terms-of-sale
- The Provider will disclose rider information to Deliveroo to assist in verifying rider details and to monitor uptake of and applications to the Scholarship Programme.
- Deliveroo accepts no responsibility for incorrectly completed, lost or delayed applications.
- If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
- Applicant personal data will be processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the Scholarship Programme and promotion, in particular the Provider will disclose Rider information to Deliveroo to assist in verifying Rider details and to monitor uptake of the Scholarship Programme in accordance with our Riders Privacy Policy here.The Rider represents and warrants they have gathered all necessary consent as required under applicable privacy laws from Family Members to disclose their personal data to Deliveroo
- Deliveroo’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Deliveroo reserves the right to withdraw a scholarship if a scholarship recipient is found to be ineligible or if these terms and conditions are not adhered to.
- Deliveroo reserves the right to amend or withdraw its scholarship provision without notice.
- These terms apply to all Applicant. If any do not agree with them, they should not participate. A hard copy of these can be printed or a copy requested by post, by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to Deliveroo.
- The Scholarship Programme, and these terms and conditions, are governed by English law, and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Openclassrooms: Terms and Conditions for free Online Course access
1. Access to Openclassrooms.com Premium Solo subscription (the “Online Course”) is open to any eligible delivery rider authorised by RooFoods Ltd or its affiliates (“Deliveroo”) to carry out delivery services (a “Rider”) or their partners, siblings, parents or children over 18 years old (“Family Members”) in any market in which Deliveroo operates globally (currently UK, Ireland, France, Italy,, The Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuwait, UAE). Throughout these terms and conditions, a reference to a “Relevant Rider” shall mean a “Rider” and “a relevant Family Member’s connected Rider”.
2. Relevant Riders shall be entitled to unlimited free access to the Online Course (available in English and French language) from point of registration until the earlier of (i) April 2022 or (ii) the Relevant Rider ceases to Rider.
3. The Provider of the Online Course is OpenClassrooms.org, a company registered in France with a registered office of 10 Quai de la Charente, 750197, Paris, France (the “Provider”), in partnership with Deliveroo.
4. To access the Online Course, Relevant Riders must register their name, email address and valid Deliveroo Rider ID at https://openclassrooms.com/en/partners/deliveroo/offers. Once a Relevant Rider’s details have been verified access to the Online Course will be provided.
5. Successful Relevant Riders shall be required to sign-up to and adhere to the Provider’s own terms and conditions in respect of the Online Course. Full Provider terms and conditions can be found here: https://openclassrooms.com/en/terms-of-sale
6. Deliveroo reserves the right to withdraw access to the Online Course if these terms and conditions are not adhered to.
